to WoW..or not to Wow..

My WoW subscription's ending on 22 Dec 05. Undeniably, I'm quite hooked on the game. Though now, playing without purpose is really not as fun as previously.

Not renewing my subscription had crossed my mind in the past. I don't know, I think I really need a real life. But other than playing games, there's really not much else for me to do in the nights. Even now, I'm probably using WoW as a means of getting over her.

The funny thing is, I was reading on Men's Health (dec 05) that when a girl breaks up with you (well in this case, we weren't even together in the first place), you should completely cut off all ties with her. Being friends? Certainly not. Well, I don't think I'm that extreme. But it does indeed appeal to my evil side. :p

She's back from Japan on Saturday. Sent me an msn message at 11pm while I was WoWing, so I didn't manage to reply. Instances when she would message are so rare. If this was in the past, I would probably send her an sms to ask her if she needed anything. But now, oh wth..I need to stand by my decision. Is this a little like snubbing her?

Anyway, on to Manchester United. I remember last season when I completely stopped watching them because there wasn't any more reason after Chelsea were destined for their first Premiership title in 50 years. Well, the desire to watch them this season is more or less gone too, after they got dumped out of Europe and drew with Everton in the weekend. One of the pundits on ESPN felt that getting dumped out of Europe's probably good for Man Utd as they can finally concentrate on the league. Overhauling Chelsea's 12 point lead is a possibility. I'm not too sure about that though. Much as I respect Sir Alex, I feel that the decisions to offload Jaap Stam and David Beckham were poorly conceived ones. This current team, has absolutely no backbone, no one to lead the charge, no one to conjure something out of nothing. It's times like this where reminiscing the glory days (1999 Champion's League final) makes me feel sad and disappointed.
