I went to suntec today for comex! There were hell lot of stuff there! The place was really really really packed! I remember the last comex that I went to, that was like 5 years ago. And my family bought my current computer there. hahaha. But this time I'm going to build my own. I better not screw anything up or I'm just going to kill myself.

Oh yeah. Didn't really buy anything today. The trip was basically for recon purposes. Got a lot of flyers though. But there weren't really any really obvious offers around. Well except the TDK 16/16 dvd writer retailing at $199, the Logitech Cordless Mx Duo at $99 and Samsung Syncmaster 710T at $749 with free wireless mouse and keyboard. Actually there were much more stuff there, but none of which are currently on the agenda. The Samsung LCD's really really cool. Looks much better than the Viewsonic one which should also be going at $749. The Benq one was quite lousy and moer expensive at $799. Sharp had the best deal of all, $699, but with only a response time of 20ms. I wonder if it really makes much of a difference. But the most chio has to go the Sharp. It was elegance within beauty. Next best is the Samsung, which I think I'll get. Yay!! Feeling so excited!! I hope my sis is free tomorrow to go get my comp with me at simlim and maybe make a trip down to suntec to get other stuff that are super cheap there. Oh yeah, there were these 2 aunty-like girls shouting offers at some booth. Sounded like some market! hahaa..but i think their deals weren't too bad.

Subscribed to HWM today, after months of waiting. Was just too lazy to get my mum to write a cheque and send in the application form. Haha. But I'm glad I waited. The freebies that came with the subscription were fantastic. There's this keyboard and optical mouse by genius(not a super good brand but the keyboard is better than the one I'm using now), this plastic thermos mug(yucks), this funny bag(yucks), August's edition of HWM and Digital Living(both of which which I have already), some "know your ps2 better" book and some big and ugly travel bag. Well not too bad, at least the keyboard is useful. Oh and the salesgirl was pretty too, her names Elysia. She's damn smart. Told her I would go walk around and think about it. Then the next time I passed by the booth she immediately came up to me and asked if I was ready to buy. haha. Oh and she's the same age as me. But we didn't really talk much. Haha. Oh she was the one who started talking to me, I wouldn't hit on her you know. *grinz*

Basically that's that. Shall go bargain hunting again soon. It's such an exciting event. The cameras are so damn cheap. Too bad I already have my Canon.
