Ramblings

It's been another long while since I last blogged. Nothing's much been going on recently and it's been pretty boring. I've got another tuition assignment, this time it's my mum's ex-colleague. The boy's a pretty fun guy so the lessons aren't painful. Well, the money's good too so I wouldn't be compaining.

School's out and results are back. I've scored a 4.0 GPA this term. Not bad really but I could really have done better. I totally hate LTB and it pulled down my GPA by quite a bit. I wished I were in a better group doing a much better project. Sigh. Biz law's also a little disappointing, with no one getting A+. A really does pull down my GPA a little, though not much, but it sucks knowing that I lost out to others even though i'm so much better than them.

My mum just mentioned something today about arrogance. University graduates think that they are so much better than everyone else that they are really rude to the customer service officers at banks. Somehow, I felt myself falling into that trap slowly, but surely. I know I am arrogant, but in a good way (is there a good way?). Well, the good way is that I refuse to accept standards lower than that which I know I can achieve. But, today's talk has indeed reminded me of the fact that the bad way is only a fine line away from the good side. I have to watch out.

Anyway, I've been shopping quite a bit. Bought a new pair of Levi's at $132, which was ALREADY on offer. Still expensive though. But it's fine, my first pair of slim fit. Not bad, I have to say. I also bought 4 tees at one go. All at Factory Outlet Shop, the stuff there are pretty cheap. Like good American brands for just $15. I really do need to stock up on clothes for next term. A different tee everyday wears down my stock pretty quickly. There's also a bag i'm interested in getting, a shoulder/hand bag, whichever it's called. Pretty nice, but at a hefty $69. Need to think a little about it before I get it. A long sleeve shirt at Heeren also looked quite good but that's at an even better $79.90. Ugh. Why are guys' stuff so expensive?

Anyway, I think I shall set up an anime review section to my blog. Always wanted to review anime and now watching anime seems to be the cheapests past time around. Will get started on this soon.
